In an April 22, 1692 court deposition, Thomas Burnham, Jr. of Ipswich, Massachusetts accused Rachel Clinton of witchcraft. He accused Clinton of milking his cows, and when caught, she vanished. Later, he claimed she turned into gray cat, which jumped onto his roof. The recorder mistakenly referred to Rachel as Rachel Haskell, but corrected the name to Clinton.
