The caption reads, "Kenneth Roberts' Residence, Kennebunkport, Maine."

After the success of his fifth novel, “Northwest Passage,” published in 1937, Kenneth Roberts bought the land for Rocky Pastures and began plans to have a stone house built there. Roberts lived and wrote in the 6,000 square foot house at Rocky Pastures until his death in 1957.

The Tichnor Brothers printing company published this type of postcard circa 1938.
