Image Info Frank L. Dyer (1854-1932) served as the railroad station agent at Strong for 52 years. As such, he was responsible for the entire operation of the terminal connecting the Sandy River Railroad with the Franklin & Megantic Railroad and the Phillips & Rangeley. He was also the Western Union telegraph operator.
