Firemen attempting to put out the Somesville Fire in Saco on September 15, 1908. Three men are on the ladder beside the water tank attempting to gain access to the building.


The fire eventually crossed into the Saco River into Biddeford, destroying the George A. Crossman Box Shop. The damage was placed at $400,000.
