The Portland Company created this drawing for the U.S. Lighthouse Engineers Office in Portland for updates and expansion to Portland Head Light in 1884.

Portland Head Light was lit on January 10, 1791. It stands as the oldest lighthouse in the State and an iconic symbol of the Maine coast. This drawing is one of over 12,000 engineering plans in the Portland Company Collection.
