Manuscript map #71 showing the Kennebec River's westerly side with lots 20-23 offered to James Pitts, October 21, 1769, and settlements on the east of the river, with illustrations of houses and a color compass rose, from the collection of the Plymouth Company, 1749-1816. Benjamin Hallowell's lot is included which is now the town of Hallowell.

Towns included on the map are Augusta, Hallowell, Farmingdale, East Winthrop, Chelsea and Randolph. Cobbosseconte Stream, Cobbosseconte Lake and Jimmie Pond in Hallowell are shown.
