Assistant Surveyor Samuel Thompson created this manuscript map of a section of Lake Huron, including part of the Fourth Manitou Island and Rattlesnake Harbour. This map is part of a larger archive, the Thomas Barclay collection (Coll. 26), related to the drawing of the Northern boundary between British Canada and the United States.
