Surveyors working under the auspices of the 6th and 7th articles of the Treaty of Ghent created this manuscript sketch of Drummond Island and straight between Lake Huron and Superior, including the Falls of St. Mary, Sugar Island, and current-day Sault Ste. Marie.

This map is part of a larger archive, the Thomas Barclay collection (Coll. 26), related to the drawing of the Northern boundary between British Canada and the United States.
