British surveyors working under the auspices of the 7th article of the Treaty of Ghent created this manuscript map of Muddy Lake and the surrounding area, including Isle aux Crosse, Lake George, and West Neblesh. This map is part of a larger archive, the Thomas Barclay collection (Coll. 26), related to the drawing of the Northeast boundary between British Canada and the United States.
