Campers re-enact the story of Abraham and Isaac at Camp Lanier in Eliot. Bible stories, written by Camp Director Sidney Lanier Jr. (1870-1918), were turned into dramas every Sunday. A variety of other activities, including crafts, nature study, music, camping trips, and hiking, were intended to help campers discover "the art of living."
