This photograph shows the Dupont Bakery ruins after the New Auburn Fire on May 15, 1933. To the bakeries left are the ruins of the Beth Abraham Synagogue. The Bakery would later rebuild on the Synagogue's land. In the background is St. Louis Church.

The New Auburn Fire started in a wooden apartment building and quickly spread displacing approximately 442 families, 2,167 people, and destroying much of the neighborhood.
