Image Info

As shown in this postcard image, North Bridgton’s Main Street was once lined with elms, which were lost to disease in the 1960s. North Bridgton is a small village within Bridgton, located west of Long Lake, and was served by a stagecoach line in the 1890s and the Bridgton and Saco River Railroad in the 20th century.

The caption reads, "Main Street, North Bridgton, Maine."

The Tichnor Brothers printing company published this type of postcard circa 1938.
