This survey of a tract of land in Scarborough was made at the request of James Libby in 1773. The map shows the Prouts Neck area of Scarborough, then known as Black Point. The Black Point River is now known as Libby River.

The full text on the maps reads, "Cumberland fs parsuant to an order of his Majesties Inferior Court held at Falmouth July 1773 for said county I have at the Request of James Libby surveyd a Tract of Land in Scarborough containing 1487 acres as Described in the above figure and have marked the Land in controversey attest.d Joseph Noyes Survey."
