Image Info The Frank J. Wood Bridge is a truss-style bridge that crosses the Androscoggin River, connecting the towns of Brunswick and Topsham. The bridge is named in honor of Frank Wood, an area farmer.

In 1756 the Proprietors of the Androscoggin Bridge constructed a toll bridge over the Androscoggin. Various other bridges spanned the river until the Frank J. Wood bridge, known locally as "the green bridge," opened in 1932.
The Pejepscot Mill, which produced paper for 120 years until is closed in 1985, is seen on the Topsham side of the river.
