Image Info

The caption reads, "Hotel Sedgwick, Bath, Maine." This hotel was built in 1908 as a mansion for lumber magnate Albert H. Shaw. It later became a prestigious hotel, and, during WWII, was used as quarters for naval officers from the Brunswick Naval Air Station and the Korean Conflict.

The Tichnor Brothers printing company published this type of postcard circa 1930-1945.
