Image Info

Over a two-week period beginning March 9, 1936, New England was the recipient of three storms which drenched the region, melted the snow left from the winter, and caused the ice on the rivers to break up and flow quickly downstream. This image depicts the flood as it affected the Texaco in Winslow.
