Image Info Showing what was left of the amusement park in downtown Old Orchard Beach on October 4, 1948 after the damage from the fire the day before. The area burnt was surrounded by Old Orchard Street, West Grand Avenue, Staples Street and the oceanfront. The fire started on Old Orchard Street in a ride called the Old Mill.
