Boys stride through the Main Street crowds during Biddeford's City Centennial parade. The celebration of Biddeford's first 100 years as a city was an immense city-wide affair. Main Street was choked with attendees of the festivities, including these boys. The parade took place on July 30, 1955, with an estimated 30,000 people in attendence and took an hour and a half to pass the reviewing stand.
