Image Info

Postcard view of a log-filled canal off the Androscoggin River in the foreground with the Portland and Rumford Falls Railway Station with its clock tower across the way.

The view, looking northeast, also shows the Hartford Street bridge. The canal was created to divert water and logs into the paper mill complex.
