A postcard image of Frye's Leap on Raymond Neck in Sebago Lake.

The leap is named for a Captain Frye who is alleged to have jumped off of it onto the snow-covered frozen lake to escape from Indians. He escaped to Frye Island and the Indians abandoned their pursuit.

Frye was an Indian hunter.
