Image Info

Bangor and Aroostook Railroad's engine 405 was the last of the 400 series to be built. After retiring from B&A, Ed Rolfe spent three years (1951 - '54) building a replica of an engine he knew well. Built to scale (1/8 inch to the inch), the project provided Rolfe with a transition from work to retirement.
