View of the 30-room Pooler mansion on Locust Avenue in Skowhegan that was purchase by Clyde Smith in 1927.

Margaret Chase Smith moved into the house in 1930 when she and Clyde married.

Clyde died in 1940, while serving in the U.S. Congress. Margaret Chase Smith sold the house in 1945. It is now the site of the Redington-Fairview Hospital.
