The Grand Trunk Station was located at 1 India Street in Portland. Portland was chosen over Boston in the late nineteenth century as the seaport terminus for the Grand Trunk line from Montreal.

This station on India Street was the third Grand Trunk Station built in Portland. It was built in 1903 and razed in 1966. The clock tower was dismantled for safety reasons in 1948.
