A British Unite coin or 20 shillings, found buried on Richmond Island in Casco Bay.

Walt Bagnall, the first European settler on the island in 1628, probably buried the coin. He was killed in 1631.

King James's image appears on the coin with the writing "JACOBUS.D.G.MAG.BRIT.FRAN.ET.GIB.REX" (James by the grace of God, King of England."

On the other side is written, "FACIAM.EOS.IN.GENTEM.VNAN"
