Narcisse J. Pelletier's Store on Bridge Street, Springvale, early 1890s.

Pelletier (1857-1900) was born in St. Andrew de Kamouraska, Quebec and moved to Brunswick in 1873.

He lived in Brunswick, Westbrook, South Berwick, and Salmon Falls, New Hampshire, before moving to Springvale in 1882.

He started his own grocery store in Springvale in 1884. After his death, his wife, Gaudelie, continued the grocery at first with her son Samuel and her brother David Caron.

By 1921 she transferred ownership of the store to her sons, David, Joseph and Charles, who purchased the property in 1922.
