Transradio in Boston sent this Postal Telegraph telegram to Bangor reporter Donald Daley on October 14, 1937. Transradio wanted to know if captured Brady Gang member Rhule James Dalhover's plane to Indiana had left Maine and what its itinerary was. The Brady Gang criminals were apprehended on October 12, 1937 on Central Street at about 8:30 a.m. in front of Dakin's Sporting Goods Company. Gang members Alfred Brady and Clarence Schaffer were killed in the incident. Dalhover was returned to Indiana, tried, and executed. Mr. Daley was present on Central Street at the time the incident occurred.
