View of railroad tracks at the railroad crossing on Old Orchard Street. The large hotel on the right is the Alberta built in 1898. Behind the Alberta is the clock tower of the Cleaves Hotel which was moved in 1899 to the corner of East Grand Avenue and Old Orchard Street and expanded into the Velvet Hotel. Both buildings were destroyed in the fire of 1907.Show Details
