Image Info Otter Cliffs is located in Acadia National Park on the Park Loop Road. George B. Dorr and Charles W. Eliot, and later John D. Rockefeller Jr. all worked to create a National Park. The park was named Lafayette National Park in 1919 and then Acadia National Park in 1929. The pink granite cliffs rise 110 feet above the ocean. The spot attracts climbers of all skill levels.
