Image Info The property of C.H. Fiske, this elegant resort hotel opened July 1, 1882 and was frequented by wealthy members of society during Old Orchard Beach's grand hotel era. It had six floors and 130 rooms and accommodated 300 people. Its location, close to the Pier and downtown, was directly in the path of the fire of August 15, 1907 which destroyed this and many of the beach's grand hotels.
