Sometimes known as the Portsmouth Bridge, the official name of the structure seen here is the World War Memorial Bridge, as it served as a memorial to World War I. Constructed between 1920 and 1923, the bridge was the first non-toll bridge to span the Piscataqua River between Portsmouth and Kittery.
