This is the original drawing for an advertisement for the Whitney Farm in Harrison.

The farm originally belonged to Marquis de Lafayette Caswell, who left it to his daughter, Arvilla Caswell and her husband, Edward K. Whitney.

The figure in the photo walking with a cane is Caswell, and the dog in the midground of the picture is "Old Pete."
