Detail of John Hancock signature from the Dr. John S. H. Fogg Autograph Collection. This letter, signed December 17, 1770, was written in Boston, Massachusetts to Benjamin Franklin. The letter calls for a "Settlement of Disputes" between the Colonies and England and an overview of some of the frustrations the colonists had toward the England.

The letter is also signed by Thomas Cushing, Samuel Adams and John Adams.
