Description
The Portland Company-built hay car #330 for the Portland & Ogdensburg Railroad, ca. 1880s. "The hay cars were unique in that when the loose hay was to be unloaded at its destination, the whole car body could be lifted off the car's platform from the stake pockets and the hay was then hauled off." - Fletcher, David H.
