'As a group of officials and workmen looked on Governor Lewis O. Barrows broke ground for the new state lobster rearing station at Boothbay Harbor. State Senator George Wentworth of Kennebunk Beach, a member of the Advisory committee, suggested that the station be named in honor of the Governor and said that he would seek Legislative permission to do this. Sea and Shore Fisheries Commissioner Arthur R. Greenleaf and Wentworth can be seen in a sitting position nearest the Governor. At the extreme right is Earle Perkins of Augusta, contractor's representative, while the rest of the group is made up of Sea and Shore wardens and Boothbay Harbor workmen'- From Dick Reed-Maine Development Commission.
