Image Info

In the early 1930s George Walter Hinckley, founder of Good Will-Hinckley, was introduced to Herman and Paul Jaehne of Lee, Maine and Cocoa Beach, Florida. The Jaehnes donated many items to Good Will before retiring to Florida in 1941, including a large collection of shells. The Jaehne Shell House was built on the campus of Good Will in order to house that collection.
