Bellarmine or "Bearded-man" jug made in Frechen, Germany in 1610 was excavated at Colonial Pemaquid State Historic site in Bristol. This artifact was featured in the 2010 book "Salt Glazed Stoneware in Early America" by Colonial Williamsburg.
