Image Info

The brick building on the right, sometimes known as Boucher Block, was built in 1912 to replace the wooden Hill's Block on Main and Alfred Streets, Biddeford.

It was home to the Puritan Confectionery Company Store (known simply as "The Puritan") and various offices.

A Biddeford & Saco Railroad Company trolley on the way to Saco waits on Alfred Street, as a man who appears to be a trolley conductor crosses in front of it.
