Miniature theater built by Charles Tinkham, a New England craftsman and theater-lover. Tinkham borrowed aspects of three different Boston theatres (Music Hall, the National Theatre and Symphony Hall) to craft this elegant 1900 theatre. It is an example of a proscenium stage, which is designed to be viewed only from the front. It stands 5' x 4' x 4' and has working sound, curtains, and lights. The theater was owned by the Theater Museum in Boothbay and it now housed at the Nordica Museum in Farmington.
