Image Info This room-size floor loom was used to make wide fabric before the Industrial Age. Early 20th century Maine photographer, Chansonetta Stanley Emmons, frequently photographed production methods which had their roots in the Colonial era.

This is the first photograph in a series taken by Emmons of this particular woman at her loom. The title is taken from a label on the glass negative itself.
